* To provide Advisory Services to the Italian/Bangladeshi Nationals looking for business/investment opportunities in Bangladesh/Italy.

* To follow up reports of the “Bangladesh-Italy Joint Committee for Commercial and Economic Cooperation” and to help in early implementation of its

    recommendations.

* To discuss with appropriate authorities in Bangladesh and Italy for removing any obstacle(s) in doing business, investment and inter-trade.

* To cooperate with appropriate organizations for promoting cultural exchange and friendship between Italy and Bangladesh.

* To collect market/economic information of Bangladesh and provide it to the Italian people when required.

* To maintain liaison with the mass media and encourage wide coverage of ItaCham activities.

* Provide information and assistance to Bangladesh and Italian firms seeking to do business with Bangladesh and Italian firms who are interested

   to promote and expand business activities between themselves.

* Arrange business delegations, meetings, dialogues, business forum, seminars, conferences and networking receptions.

* Receive business delegations and arrange meetings with relevant agencies, organizations, trade bodies.

* Disseminate trade inquiries, market information, news on international trade fairs & exhibitions.

* Provide contacts & assistance to participate in international trade fairs in Italy.

* To look into the difficulties/obstacles members are facing with import/export, duty structures, transportation, dumping, antidumping, IPR or other

    trade related issues.
